First of all, happy 5th birthday to Joe and Bess!
In the mid-autumn, October 2017 Joe and Bess came to Taijou no Ie as a therapy dog. Now, it's been almost 4years of giving joy, comfort, and happiness to their surroundings. There were maybe tough times when they worry the people around them, but still thanks to the people who are taking care of them they were healthy and happy living in the Taijou no Ie facility. So, it is really a great opportunity to witness and participate in their 5th birthday celebration last June 25, 2020, held at one of the facility room of Taijou no Ie. During that time, the wanwan club responsible for tending their needs and the assistant doctor for joe and bess and also the staff of Taijou no Ie makes the event more beautiful and meaningful to Joe and bess. The patients help in preparing the decoration needed while the assistant doctor and the staff assisted them. After that, they put the decoration on the board while the staff and assistant doctor make sure to let them practice their own decision-making. In doing so, everyone is enjoying and having a good time with each other. The room is filled with the laughter of people around and barked by Joe and bess.
I would really like to describe the feeling or the atmosphere at that time but I cannot put them into words. All I can say is that it is really a great day for everyone especially to the birthday celebrant joe and jess.

まず、ジョーとベスに5歳の誕生日おめでとう！
2017年10月中旬、
ジョーとベスがセラピードックとして
大樹の家にやってきました。
今では、私たちにに喜び、快適さ、幸せを与えてからほぼ4年になります。
周りの人を心配するのはつらい時期だったかもしれませんが、
それでも大樹の家の家族と過ごすことにより、
この家で健康で幸せな生活を送ることができました。
ですから、2020年6月25日、
大樹の家で開催された彼らの5回目の誕生日のお祝いができたことは、
素晴らしい機会です。
その間、ジョーとベスのニーズに対応する
ワンワンクラブの入居者さんとアシスタントドック職員、
そして大樹の家のスタッフが
ジョーとベスにとってイベントを
より美しく意味のあるものにします。
入居者さんが装飾の準備し、
アシスタントドック職員とスタッフがそれらを手伝いました。
その後、装飾をボードに飾り、
みんなが楽しんで、
お互いに楽しい時間を過ごしています。
部屋は周りの人々のお祝いムードで満たされ、ジョーとベスは満足そうでした。
その時の気分や雰囲気を
本当に表現したいのですが、
言葉では言い表せません。
私が言えることは、
誕生日を祝う
ジョーとべスにとって、
誰にとっても
本当に素晴らしい日だということです。
